The "Wyschywanka" charitable initiative

No matter what anyone says, Ukraine in all its manifestations has become a significant trend all over the world. Unfortunately, this happened due to tragic events and war. However, active communities of Ukrainians abroad today demonstrate the brightest virtues of our nation - coherence and unity.

The "Wyschywanka" charitable initiative is a loud example that proves Ukrainian strength, indomitability, thirst for victory and inexhaustible love for native people. It was formed by natives of the Dnipro who have lived in Germany for more than 30 years, but support Ukraine in word and deed. One of the projects is charity evenings of Ukrainian cuisine.

Therefore, the charity events of the organization combined creative fundraising and acquaintance of the European audience with the heritage of Ukrainian culture. For the first time, such a charity dinner took place on March 15 in one of the restaurants in Zurich. Then almost 70 people tasted Ukrainian borsch with pampushkas and vareniki with various fillings.

All proceeds — CHF 850 (UAH 33,898) — were sent to support Dnipro basic hospitals. (By the way, you can also join the fundraising and directly support medical institutions, which, despite the crazy increase in the volume of work, do not stop saving human lives — https://248.dp.ua/projects/1202#pay).

We thank the caring Ukrainians from all over the world for their sensitivity, true care and devotion to Ukraine!
