1-річна Варя Черемних з порушенням слуху отримала слухові апарати!

We hurry to share the news! 1-year-old Varya Cheremnykh with hearing impairment received hearing aids! This became possible thanks to the support of relatives and friends of the family, as well as thanks to the help of the partners of the Charity Exchange “DobroDiy”.

Varvara Cheremnykh was born in the city of Vasylivka, Zaporizhzhia region, 4 days before the full-scale invasion of the russian occupation forces into Ukraine. The girl was only 6 days old when her mother first had to hide her from shelling in the basement of the house.

When Varvara was 5 months old, the family managed to escape from the occupation to Zaporozhye. It seemed that the worst was over, but the family was beset by a new disaster. The girl was diagnosed with third degree sensorineural hearing loss.

Varya is a very cheerful and active child. She likes to play, bicker, feed the birds in the park. She is interested in everything around her. Varvara is intently looking into people's faces, trying with all her might to hear their voices.

Unfortunately, due to a difficult diagnosis, the girl's life was plunged into complete silence. According to doctors, Varvara urgently needs high-power hearing aids. The Cheremnykh family could not buy them for their daughter on their own. Their cost — UAH 92,000 — is unaffordable for forced migrants.

Together, we raised the necessary amount and purchased hearing aids for little Varya! Now she will be able to catch up with her peers in development, learn to speak and understand spoken speech. Thanks to your support, the girl will grow up healthy and happy! Thanks to everyone who took part!
