​UAH 2,600,000 TO SUPPORT MEDICAL INSTITUTIONS IN 2023: STRATEGIC CASES, REPAIR OF SURGERY ROOMS, MEDICINES, MEDICAL TRAININGS

Since the foundation of the Charity Exchange “DobroDiy”, one of the key areas of work has been the comprehensive support of basic medical facilities in Ukraine. In wartime, the urgency of helping hospitals has increased many times, in fact, as well as the number of needs.

We take a systemic approach to helping healthcare institutions, which is why we invest our strength and resources in filling gaps, not duplicating public procurement. During 2023, we managed to implement several strategic cases. Among other things, the aid was directed to:

• Repair works in the amount of more than UAH 1,700,000. In particular, "Regional Medical Center for Family Health" carried out:
  
  
  • repair of the traumatological and operating room for the subsequent installation of a mobile digital operating X-ray machine of the C-arc type Carmex RK;
  • connection to the oxygen supply system to hospital departments;
  • repair of the ventilation system and premises of the pathology department.
    

• Provision of branches with scarce medicines and consumables in the amount of UAH 800,000.
  
• Training and advanced training of medical personnel in the amount of more than UAH 100,000:

It is extremely important that the competence and qualifications of medical workers grow. Because the quality of providing services to patients fundamentally depends on it. Understanding this, we willingly support doctors in their thirst for new knowledge and skills.

Hospitals and staff are working at a frantic pace today. We continue to support medics, who every day stand guard over the life and health of both military and civilian Ukrainians. Unfortunately, often only state program support is not enough for the effective work of doctors.
