SYSTEM SUPPORT FOR MEDICAL FACILITIES: INVESTING IN A HEALTHY FUTURE FOR CHILDREN

The Regional Medical Centre for Family Health is a unique medical facility that is in many ways irreplaceable for south-eastern Ukraine. Here, highly qualified specialists save children's lives in the most difficult cases, when every minute counts.

Unfortunately, the intensity of the doctors' work has increased significantly in recent years due to armed Russian aggression, rocket attacks and massive destruction of civilian objects. The Regional Medical Centre for Family Health is the only place in the region that provides emergency medical assistance to children in critical condition during mass disasters.

It is also the only successful paediatric oncology centre in the region, giving hope to children with difficult diagnoses and their families. It is also the only hospital with special children's burn beds and a highly professional team of paediatric specialists who deal with burn trauma.

Charity Exchange "DobroDiy" has a long history of supporting this invaluable medical facility for patients, its talented doctors and its staff. We often emphasise that one of our principles is systemic aid. Helping hospitals cannot be a one-off operation. It should be systemic because it guarantees the sustainable development of healthcare, which is extremely important for all of us.

Recent cases of our charitable support to the medical centre have been the purchase of consumables for Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation (ECMO), which is often the only chance for life, dispensers and other equipment for individual disinfection of staff, as well as the necessary medicines.
