SEPTEMBER, 29: THE DEAF PEOPLE INTERNATIONAL DAY

This day is another important and appropriate reason to draw attention to those for whom silence has become a constant companion in life. We at the Charity Exchange "DobroDiy" are constantly in touch with children and teenagers with hearing impairments, and are always ready to help.

According to WHO, more than 430 million people in the world have cases of hearing impairment. At the same time, about 100,000 people in Ukraine face this problem, including many children, for whom timely hearing aids are crucial life saviors.

The childhood of many of our wards can hardly be called complete due to total or partial silence. This leads to problems with communication, socialization, and development. However, modern technologies can change the fate of these children, giving them the opportunity to hear the world around them.

Hearing aids are not just a medical necessity, but a real chance for children to develop, communicate and integrate into society. Without hearing aids, they risk being isolated, unable to hear the voices of their relatives or learn with their peers.
