DIAGNOSIS FOR A 4-YEAR-OLD MASHA WITH EPILEPSY
From the first days Mariyka was restless. At 8 months, the child began to have seizures. Her small body twisted hundreds of times a day. The baby stopped responding to toys and screaming. While looking for the cause, establishing the diagnosis — wasted time.
When Maria was 1 year old, they started hormone therapy, which stopped the painful cramps. But after almost 2 years, the epilepsy returned. Then Mariyka was examined at the 'Epi.Net' clinic. She was diagnosed with two genetic 'breakdowns'. Doctors prescribed a keto diet.
The girl has been on a strict diet for a year. The results are positive, the development has moved on, Mariyka has learned the alphabet, figures, counts to 5. And most importantly, it's remission! Today, the little girl attends kindergarten, infinitely happy runs to meet the children.
However, lately Mariyka has been very afraid of animals and cars and has become very nervous. The girl began to stutter. It is possible that epilepsy is returning with renewed vigor. Yes or no, the diagnosis will show. It should be held as early as possible. And a single mother does not have the funds for a costly examination for her daughter.
