5-YEAR-OLD SASHKO NEEDS BRAIN EXAMINATION
Sasha was born prematurely in the 31st week of pregnancy. And yet he was breathing and screaming. He was gaining weight well. Unfortunately, neurosonography later showed brain damage.
The boy had eye surgery three times. Vision was preserved, although Sasha sees poorly — -14.
At the age of 4, cerebral palsy joined the terrible diagnoses.
Doctors gave disappointing forecasts. 'Honestly, I dropped my hands too', — says Ira's mother. — 'But I had to communicate with the child, so I showed the animals and told about them. One day the question 'Where is the dog?' Sasha pointed to the picture. Hooray, he understands me! Today, the son can count to 20 and read 2-, 3-syllable words, fully understands everything. Yes, we are lagging behind in physical development, but we are still at a distance and will never give up!'
Now Sasha needs an important examination — MRI of the brain. Thanks to accurate diagnosis, doctors will be able to prescribe effective treatment. Please help Sasha!
