The Sovietovys family lives in the Dnieper. Mom and dad and two daughters have a hearing impairment.
Senior Lisa's 15 years. She is in the 9th grade at a special school. The girl is fond of badminton, seriously attends sports meetings and trainings, goes to competitions. Lisa is full of medals.
Junior Katrusia 8. She attends the same school as Lisa. Also an athlete — she plays basketball. And Katia enthusiastically reads books, draws.
Both girls have deafness of the III degree. Lisa and Katia need hearing aids for both ears. They wear them from birth. Those who received from the state this spring are not suitable at all. They ring in the ears, increased fatigue and constant discomfort. And numerous settings at the deaf and dumb do not help.
Previously, parents bought used hearing aids. And adjusted them to individual programs for each daughter. Such devices often break. And their repair is expensive.
Lisa and Katia really want to hear the world around them. But no matter how hard parents try, they are not able to buy expensive devices that will not fail, will not hiss and create additional problems.
Dad works as a teacher at a school for deaf children. Mom is an educator in a kindergarten for children with hearing and speech impairments. The family asks for help, because they will not draw such a large sum on their own.
Hearing aids are needed now that girls are developing and growing. And to feel free, to adapt in society, it is very important for them to hear! Please support the sisters! Without you, they have no chance of a full life!
