CHILDHOOD WITH EPILEPSY. WE NEED EXPENSIVE DIAGNOSIS FOR NEW AGE NATAN!
Natan was born prematurely, at 32 weeks of pregnancy. He was not breathing, spent a month in intensive care, on mechanical ventilation. Then another 3 months on the way out in 'Okhmatdyt'. The boy developed hydrocephalus, at the age of 2.5 months neurosurgeons placed a shunt.
MRI showed that Natan had a brain hemorrhage as a result of severe brain damage.
Nevertheless, after his discharge, Natan began to develop: to hold his head, smile, reach for toys. Until the age of 8 months, the first epileptic seizure occurred, after which the boy lost all skills and stopped developing. He was diagnosed with Vesta syndrome.
Helped ketogenic diet, introduced by epileptologists at the age of 1 year, six months later remission and the child began to develop again, on Natan's diet so far, managed to get off anticonvulsants.
Since then, Natan has been working with a physical therapist, psychologist and speech therapist, all the family's money goes to rehabilitation.
Now Natan is 5 years old and he can sit confidently, crawl on his ass, stand up, stand with support, walk with a walker, by the handle and holding on to the wall. He speaks many words and phrases, tells poems.
The boy loves musical toys, books and plasticine. Natan is a very cheerful child, loves to practice and rejoices when he is praised.
To monitor the Natan's health requires regular night monitoring of brain activity — once every 6-8 months. The next encephalogram is scheduled for the end of February. Please help the family pay for it!
