MRI FOR A 10-YEAR-OLD BOHDAN WITH CEREBRAL PALSY
'My son was born prematurely in the sixth month of pregnancy with a body weight of 840 grams, and from that day began his difficult journey,' — begins his story Ludmyla, Bogdan's mother.
'3 months of resuscitation, 82 days on mechanical ventilation, another one and a half in neonatology. We were discharged home at almost 5 months. And at the age of 1, my son was diagnosed with cerebral palsy'.
Today Bogdanchyk is 10 years old. He bravely fights for a full life, going through many different procedures, massages, exercise therapy, injections, acupuncture, rehabilitation...
Bogdanchyk understands everything, but he can't say for himself, because his body, arms, legs and face are constrained by spasms. This does not allow him to move, talk, and chew properly.
The boy studies in a specialized school, loves to study, despite motor limitations. He learned to read about himself, count, likes to listen to books and loves computer science, wants to study computer programs.
Doctors predict a happy future for Bohdan with constant treatment. Now the boy needs an expensive examination. Thanks to accurate diagnosis, doctors will be able to prescribe effective therapy. Please help the guy!
