Zlatonka contracted leukemia in May 2021. However, at that time the parents of a 5-year-old girl had no idea about the terrible diagnosis. It was believed that the little girl caught SARS. But the blood test results were disappointing. Zlata and her mother were sent to the Dnipro.
There, the girl had their bone marrow cells taken. The analysis was sent to 'OKHMATDYT'. Kyiv doctors confirmed leukemia.
For almost a year now, Zlatonka has been struggling with her illness. Behind her tiny back are 3 treatment protocols. Doctors note a positive trend. This means that the whole painful path is not in vain. We mustn't give up!
