6-YEAR-OLD VANYA WITH CP DREAMS OF WALKING ON HIS OWN. HELP THE BOY COME CLOSER TO THE GOAL!
Vanya Bushmin was born prematurely, at the 30th week of pregnancy, the first of twins. His little sister, unfortunately, died on the 23rd day. Due to congenital pathologies, the baby was sent to the intensive care unit. For two weeks, the boy was connected to a ventilator.
Later, he was transferred to the Department of Neonatal Pathology. Vanya's diagnoses - cerebral edema, hypoxia, convulsive syndrome, pseudocystic periventricular leukomalacia - caused irreversible processes in the form of movement disorders. Fortunately, the child's intelligence was preserved.
All his life, Vanya works a lot with rehabilitation specialists, correctional teachers, and speech therapists. Thanks to timely and regular classes, Vanya's spasticity has significantly decreased, motor skills have improved; the boy keeps his balance for a short time.
The child cannot yet walk independently, but each rehabilitation brings Vanya closer to this. He shows persistence, patience and diligence in his classes. Despite constant pain and physical exertion, Vanya persistently moves forward and puts all her strength into getting one step closer to her dream.
Doctors note positive dynamics. There is a prospect and all the evidence that the boy will be able to take the first independent steps. This requires continuous rehabilitation. Vanya's mother cannot pay for all the courses. She is raising her son alone, because his father abandoned the disabled child.
Please help Vanya to reach her goal and move on her own!
