HELP 8-YEAR-OLD MYKOLA WITH CP TO ACQUIRE NEW SKILLS!
Mykola Antonenko was born prematurely. Due to the rhesus conflict, the baby was in critical condition, suffered a lung hemorrhage, blood transfusion, and was connected to a ventilator. After discharge, Mykola underwent recuperative treatment every two months. Then began his long, difficult, but fruitful path of rehabilitation.
During the year, Mykola learned to roll over and crawl, sit and hold his head. Currently, the boy does not speak, does not walk and does not hold his head well. But he can already stand near the support, sit with support. He learned to go to the toilet and has been without diapers for two years, which, according to his mother, is already quite an achievement.
Despite the difficulties, Mykola went to school. Now he is studying in the 1st grade. Lessons have to be combined with regular rehabilitation. Otherwise, hyperkinesis returns and the boy ceases to control his own body.
Mykola is very fond of drawing, gluing, and cutting. His hobby is cars. The boy is very stubborn and diligent. Despite his physical difficulties, he helps his mother with household chores: he can put things in the washing machine or wash the dishes.
It is difficult for the family to pay for all the necessary treatment measures for Mykola. In addition, the boy's father was diagnosed with diabetes, so the man cannot work at full strength.
