5-YEAR-OLD YULIA WITH CP IS STRUGGLING WITH THE CONSEQUENCES OF THE DIAGNOSIS. SUPPORT HER!
Yulia was one of twins born in the Palamarchuk family. Mother's pregnancy proceeded against the background of low placentation. This caused a difficult birth. Therefore, Yulia and her brother were born prematurely, and the girl’s weight was only 2180 g.
The diagnoses given to the baby were scary: perinatal brain damage, periventricular leukomalacia, bilateral ventricular dilatation of the first stage, early anemia of premature babies, neonatal sepsis, necrotizing enterocolitis, cholestasis, and others.
Unfortunately, Yulia’s brother died of necrotizing enterocolitis. So the girl held on to her life and fought for both of them. And continues to fight further.
At the age of 1, Julia was diagnosed with cerebral palsy. The child started classes with rehabilitators. Thanks to systematic work, Yulia acquired new skills, learned to feel and gradually control her body.
Now the girl is growing up as a diligent and shy child. She knows shapes and colors, knows how to count to 10, repeats words. Yulia really likes to watch cartoons and put together puzzles. She reaches out to her peers.
Now the girl has new goals: to improve balance and coordination, as well as speech. Medical services for rehabilitation measures cost a lot. So the Palamarchuk family is asking for help from everyone who cares.
