MYROSLAVA WITH CP WANTS TO WALK INDEPENDENTLY. HELP HER DREAMS COME TRUE!
Myroslava Makarenko is 7 years old. During the difficult birth, the girl and her mother barely survived. Since then, the long road to the girl’s rescue and recovery began.
At 4 months, the child began a course of massages and physical therapy. Then her condition somewhat stabilized. At the age of six months, the girl underwent the first of many rehabilitation courses. In 2021, Myroslava underwent surgery on the left hip joint.
And last December, the girl underwent a selective dorsal rhizotomy. The surgery gave positive results. Now Myroslava can feel her limbs better, turns over from her back to her stomach, started walking with support and gradually gained weight. The girl became more cheerful, because now the spasticity almost does not bother her.
Now Myroslava needs regular classes with rehabilitators. Only with their help will the girl acquire new skills and have a chance to walk independently. Rehabilitation courses cost a lot, and the Makarenko family is asking for help from everyone who cares. Please support Miroslava so that she can start the planned course of classes in May.
