8-YEAR-OLD MAKSYM WITH CP NEEDS REHABILITATION!
Maksym Golub was born prematurely, at 28 weeks of pregnancy, weighing 1300 g. The baby was very weak. Doctors predicted worst-case scenarios for the baby, and even suggested the mother to refuse the child. However, Elizaveta did not even think about it.
From the first days, Maksym began to fight for his life. The boy underwent intensive therapy and lung surgery, was connected to a ventilator. Eventually he started breathing and eating on his own. And two months after his birth, he and his mother were discharged home.
Unfortunately, premature birth and numerous pathologies did not pass without a trace. Already at 11 months, Maksym was diagnosed with cerebral palsy. Now he is 8 years old. He is obedient and diligent. Maksym likes to swim in the pool, but classes with a speech therapist are difficult for him.
Mom is raising Maksym alone, so she had to quit her job. There is a catastrophic lack of funds for rehabilitation measures for my son. Please join the fundraising and help Maksym get to the planned course of classes already in June!
