5-YEAR-OLD SASHA HAS UNDERGONE COMPLEX OPERATIONS AND STEM CELL TRANSPLANTATION. NOW SHE FIGHTS FOR EVERY NEW SKILL
Sasha is the youngest child in the Shchekoturin family. She was born a healthy baby on time, developed, started talking early. But the girl's happy childhood ended in an instant. Suddenly, Sasha began to complain of headache and nausea. Doctors performed an MRI on the child, after which they operated twice on the brain.
After the experience, the girl stopped talking and responding to stimuls. She did not hold her head, did not swallow, did not sit and did not walk. Sasha had cerebellar mutism. During the year, she was treated by the doctors of the Kyiv Cancer Institute. The girl underwent chemotherapy and stem cell transplantation.
After complex treatment, the struggle for a full life of Oleksandra began. She learned to eat, sit, crawl on her own. She said the first words. Later, Sasha began to walk, albeit with support. Unfortunately, the child has not yet fully overcome the consequences of dysarthria and atoxic syndrome.
5-year-old Sasha dreams of going to kindergarten and school. She is a creative girl, likes to draw and dance. In June, the child is expected to attend a planned course of classes with rehabilitation specialists. Please help the Shchekoturin family to pay for medical services for Sasha!
