ONE STEP TO A HEALTHY FUTURE. 12-YEAR-OLD TWINS WITH CP DENYS AND VALERIA NEED HELP
Twins Denys and Valeria Sviatkivski were born prematurely. The babies spent 2 months in the department for premature babies at the Okhmatdyt hospital. Unfortunately, the hopes of doctors and parents did not come true. The children have a delay in their development. They were not even 2 years old when doctors made a disappointing diagnosis of cerebral palsy.
The intelligence of the brother and sister is preserved. So, all efforts are devoted to their physical development. From the birth of the twins, the parents did everything for their treatment. The children attended rehabilitation and underwent several surgeries. Thanks to all the efforts, Denys started to walk with support, and Valeria — to walk independently.
Children study in a middle school on an inclusive basis. They are sociable and friendly. They are friends with each other and have many friends. Valeria is very fond of puzzles, she enjoys making things out of felt, and Denys likes to carve things from wood.
With each course of classes, children acquire more and more skills and gradually get rid of the consequences of a difficult diagnosis. They have every chance to become independent and move freely. This requires systematic classes with rehabilitators. But their cost is too high for a family where two children need treatment at once!
Please help Denys and Valeria to get to the planned course of classes in July!
