16-YEAR-OLD MARIA WITH CP ALMOST OVERCOME THE CONSEQUENCES OF A DIFFICULT DIAGNOSIS. A FEW STEPS REMAIN TO THE GOAL!
Maria Degtyarenko was born as the first of twin girls at the 36th week of pregnancy, weighing only 1,740 g. Her condition was very hard. The child was in intensive care and in the neonatal pathology department. At the age of one year, Maria received a difficult diagnosis. Since then, her painstaking journey to physical recovery began.
Regular rehabilitation in Kyiv and Truskavets, treatment in sanatoriums of Yevpatoria, Skadovsk, Pushcha-Vodytsia, surgeries on joints and muscles gave the child the opportunity to walk in a walker, study remotely, navigate in space, take care of herself and be a confident person.
Maria admires the diamond mosaic and dreams of confident steps and a healthy future! Please support the girl!
