BROTHERS ROMA AND KOSTYA WITH SEVERE DIAGNOSES NEED SUPPORT!
The Chikarenko family has three children: the eldest daughter, Ksyusha, and two sons, Roma and Kostya. Unfortunately, both boys have serious diagnoses from birth.
12-year-old Roma was a long-awaited child and was born healthy. But when the baby was 3 months old, the parents noticed a certain lag in development from his peers and learned about his diagnosis — Down syndrome.
Now Roma is studying in the 4th grade and getting to know the world around him. Diligent work with rehabilitators is bearing fruit. He is a healthy boy and differs from other children only in his chromosome set. In order not to lose all the acquired skills, Roma needs regular classes with specialists.
Kostya is 9 years old, and throughout his life he has been accompanied by complex diagnoses. At the age of three months, the boy did not follow the toys and did not respond to his mother. Now Kostya already knows how to sit and walk along the support, holding on to it. His gait is becoming more confident. The boy assembles a pyramid, knows how to read, draw and sing.
Unfortunately, progressive cerebellar atrophy was detected in the boy's latest MRI. Doctors assess the dynamics of the child's development as weakly positive. Drug therapy helps to stabilize the condition of bones. In addition, the boy needs hippotherapy to activate and develop the amplitude of back work. Without it, he will not be able to walk on his own.
The family needs help, because the parents are unable to pay for all the necessary treatment for their sons on their own. Please support the Chikarenko family!
