5-YEAR-OLD ILYA WITH CP WANTS TO ACQUIRE NEW SKILLS. PLEASE HELP THE CHILD FIGHT WITH A COMPLEX DIAGNOSIS!
Ilya Shmalko was born in Pyatikhatki on time - at 40th week of pregnancy. His weight was 3100 g, but immediately after his birth, the baby was sent to the department of anesthesiology and intensive care for newborns in Dnipro. There, the boy was placed under artificial and non-invasive lung ventilation.
Over the course of a month, Ilya was examined and diagnosed with severe cerebral palsy, spastic tetraparesis with pronounced persistent movement disorders, and delayed psychomotor development. In May, Ilya turned 5 years old, and he still cannot sit, walk, or talk. However, the baby has learned to crawl, which makes him very happy.
Ilya is a kind and cheerful boy who loves to play with cars. From diapers, he visits a massage therapist, does physical therapy and regularly attends rehabilitation classes. In order not to lose previous successes and learn new skills, it is important for Ilya not to miss any planned rehabilitation course.
Unfortunately, medical services are expensive, and the Shmalko family is unable to pay for all the necessary medical measures for their son. Please support little Ilya!
