PLATON WITH EPILEPSY NEEDS AN EXPENSIVE EXAMINATION!
Platon Kononenko is 6 years old. He has been struggling with epilepsy for half of his life. The first attacks did not cause suspicion among doctors. The doctors reassured his mother. However, the frequency and duration of the attacks only increased. In addition, the disease progressed and had a negative impact on the psycho-emotional state of the boy.
From a playful brawler who was always interested in everything, he turned into an apathetic, hysterical child who, at the age of 3, stopped understanding spoken speech due to seizures. And there was only one word "mother" left in his vocabulary. So the family began to look for the cause of this condition.
Doctors, whom the Kononenkos first consulted, confirmed the terrible diagnosis — epilepsy, but could not find an effective therapy for the boy. In the end, the family managed to find a specialist who thoroughly examined Platon and prescribed comprehensive treatment, thanks to which the boy's condition improved and the long-awaited remission came!
Now Platon is a cheerful and open-minded child again. He really likes to play with his pet cat. He also likes to draw, play active games, swim in the river, and play soccer. Most recently, Platon showed himself as a lover of puppet theaters. Throughout the performance, the boy does not take his eyes off of the stage.
He is a sociable boy and always wants to be in the company of children, although given the delay in language and mental development, it is quite difficult. "While Platon is living all those moments of his childhood that epilepsy took away from him, I am guarding this condition under the supervision of a doctor, adjusting the dose of drugs and keeping my finger on the pulse, because the disease is insidious, and I must do everything to not give it any chance!", says Platon's mother, Marianna.
The key to the stability of positive dynamics is timely and high-quality examinations, which, unfortunately, are not cheap. Over the years of treatment and rehabilitation, the Kononenkos are financially exhausted, so they turn to everyone who cares for help.
