5-YEAR-OLD LERA WITH CP ALMOST OVERCOME THE CONSEQUENCES OF A DIFFICULT DIAGNOSIS. HELP HER FORGET ABOUT THE DISEASE!
Valeria Myshchenko was born prematurely. Her weight was only 1370 grams. For 3 months, the baby was in intensive care and underwent 2 surgeries on the intestine. Immediately after discharge, the parents put all their efforts into rehabilitation measures for their daughter. Valeria was engaged in therapeutic physical education, took massage courses.
Unfortunately, at 1 year and 8 months, the child was diagnosed with CP. In addition, surgeries carried out in the first months of life left a mark on the work of the gastrointestinal tract and the girl's nutrition. Now, although Lera is moving independently, she is unsure - the girl falls, does not keep her balance. The entire left side of her body spasmed.
Also, the child needs to work on fine motor skills, because it is difficult for her to cut with scissors and write. Despite the diagnosis, Lera is cheerful and inquisitive. She likes to draw with felt-tip pens and paints, play with dolls in a dollhouse, and watch cartoons. The girl listens with pleasure as her mother reads her fairy tales.
In order to finally overcome the consequences of difficult diagnoses, Valeria needs regular classes with rehabilitation specialists. Services for their daughter's treatment cost a lot, so the Myshchenkos ask for help from everyone who cares.
