7-YEAR-OLD SASHKO WITH CP IS OVERCOMING THE CONSEQUENCES OF PATHOLOGIES. HELP HIM!
Sashko Demchenko was born prematurely at the 31st week of pregnancy. The boy was born without any complications. He was gaining weight well. But later neurosonography revealed brain damage.
Since then, Sashko has undergone three eye surgeries. It was possible to save his vision, although now the boy sees poorly, having an indicator of -14. Two years ago, cerebral palsy appeared in the list of diagnoses.
Doctors gave disappointing forecasts. "I also gave up," says Ira, the boy’s mother. — "But I had to communicate with the child, and I showed him the animals and told him about them. One day to the question "Where's the dog?" Sashko pointed to a picture... Yes, we are lagging behind in physical development, but we are still on the way and will never give up!"
Now the boy knows how to count to 20 and reads two- and three-syllable words, understands spoken speech. He is very fond of riding a bicycle and scooter, as well as playing with cars and building blocks. In spring, Sashko underwent a surgery on his legs to get rid of muscle tone. It was successful. Now the boy needs intensive rehabilitation.
The family is asking for help paying for the rehabilitation course for Sashko. Classes with specialists help the boy overcome the consequences of difficult diagnoses.
