10-YEAR-OLD VALERIA WITH DIFFICULT DIAGNOSES FIGHTS FOR NEW SKILLS. HELP HER!
Valeria Veles was born during a difficult childbirth - the baby had a brain hemorrhage. The girl was immediately admitted to intensive care. During the night, her condition worsened, so Valeria was sent to the intensive care unit of another hospital. She stayed there for 2 weeks, one of which was on a ventilator. The baby spent the next 2 weeks in the neonatal pathology department, where little Valeria was fed with a tube.
During the discharge, the doctors reassured the family, saying that everything is fine with the girl. However, when Valeria was already 4 months old, her mother noticed that her daughter was developing with a delay: she did not hold her head up, did not turn over. The neurologist suggested taking a course of massages. Unfortunately, it didn't help. At the age of 3, Valeria was diagnosed with cerebral palsy.
Now the girl is 10 years old. She really likes listening to music, being photographed, and playing educational games. Valeria understands spoken speech, but answers only in single words. Unfortunately, the child still cannot sit and stand on his own, and holds her head unsteadily.
Only with the help of rehabilitation classes will the girl have a chance to overcome the consequences of difficult diagnoses. Medical services are expensive, so the family needs support.
