The Mykhailov’s family eagerly awaited the arrival of their son, Stanislav. Especially his older sister Anya was. The mother's pregnancy was uneventful, so no one could think of anything bad.
Immediately after delivery, the baby suffered asphyxiation. The child from Nikopol was sent to intensive care in Dnipro. He was on a ventilator for 4 days. Another month - in the hospital. After discharge, it seemed that the worst was over, and you could breathe out. Unfortunately, that was just the beginning.
Stas started to hold his head and roll over in time, but he did not learn to sit and crawl on his own. At the age of 1, the child was diagnosed with cerebral palsy. The boy completed hundreds of courses both in Ukraine and abroad.
Over the last 4 years, it was possible to improve the level of motor functions by 1 level! Stas learned to sit with support, stand at a support with the help of orthoses, and walk with a walker. Stas likes to draw and make postcards on his own.
The boy will soon be 10 years old. He dreams of going to school, playing football, and making friends. Unfortunately, now in the village where the family lives, there is no specialist teacher who could conduct qualified classes with the boy.
To maintain a positive dynamic, you need to regularly work with rehabilitation specialists. Then there will be no recourse. Help the family pay for the rehabilitation course scheduled for the end of January!
