Stefaniya Verba was born prematurely - at 31 weeks of pregnancy. This, as well as complicated childbirth, affected her health and further development. Unfortunately, the girl has cerebral palsy, she cannot sit, stand, or walk on her own.
Her family are forced migrants. In 2014, the family left Luhansk, moving to Severodonetsk. At the beginning of the full-scale invasion, they found shelter in Poltava, where they fought with all their might for the health of her youngest daughter.
Stefaniya is a very clever and intelligent girl, she is interested in the world around her, she is drawn to other children and does not understand why she cannot run with them. She likes to draw, learn new things and play with her older sister Mariyka.
Stefaniya likes classes with a speech therapist, where she learns to pronounce words correctly, compose sentences, studies geometric figures, wild and domestic animals, transport, emotions. The girl also visits the pool and exercises on horses. Five times a week, she works with a rehabilitator and does physical exercises to take independent steps sooner.
The family tirelessly fights for Stefaniya's physical health: massages, kinesiotherapy, hippotherapy, Feldenkreis exercises, paraffin therapy, taping... The family budget is exhausted. But they can't stop! The girl needs regular rehabilitation measures! Please help her parents pay for the treatment scheduled for January.
