11-YEAR-OLD VLAD CONTINUES TO RECOVER AFTER CRASH. THE FAMILY NEEDS HELP!
7 years ago, the family of Vlad Kovalenko got into a terrible car accident. The boy had an open craniocerebral injury, brain contusion, purulent meningoencephalitis, which led to a 5-month coma.
Vlad has undergone complex neurosurgical operations, shunting, eye surgery, numerous head and abdominal surgeries. The 11-year-old boy still struggles with the consequences of the accident today.
All the years after the tragedy, the parents relentlessly treat their son in rehabilitation centers. All necessary measures are very expensive. Thanks to constant training, Vlad's back became stronger, seizures decreased; sensitivity of the left side of the body was restored.
The child became more attentive, and his speech had improved. The boy began to enjoy his life again, communicate and enjoy new acquaintances. Unfortunately, over the past year, Vlad has had delayed bone development. Due to this, the curvature of the spine progresses.
Over the past 6 months, Vlad has undergone 3 surgeries on his head! So now he needs recovery under the constant supervision of doctors and rehabilitators.
It is very important not to stop for a moment. Each break between courses equals regression! The Kovalenko’s are waiting for a rehabilitation course in January. But it is very expensive. Please help the family pay part of the medical services for their son!
