5-YEAR-OLD TIMOFIY WITH AUTISM NEEDS REHABILITATION CLASSES! HELP THE IDP FAMILY!
Timofiy Golubev was born a healthy boy. However, at the age of 1.3, his mother noticed that her son had a delay in development compared to children of his age. She turned to the hospital. The doctors there reassured the woman, saying that everything takes its time. But the miracle did not happen.
When Timofiy did not start to speak at the age of 2, the psychiatrist diagnosed him with delayed psycho-speech development. To clarify the pathology, the family went to Kyiv, where the boy visited a neurologist. Timofiy underwent an EEG and had her hearing checked. Kyiv doctors made corrections to the diagnosis — Timofiy has an autistic spectrum disorder.
The boy was assigned a rehabilitation program with a speech therapist, speech pathologist, and sports activities. The family returned to their native Pokrovsk in the Donetsk region, where Timofiy began working with specialists. But a full-scale invasion turned ordinary life upside down. The family was forced to move to the capital.
The mother is raising her son alone, and she cannot pay for all the necessary rehabilitation measures for him. And Timofiy needs regular classes with specialists! He is very drawn to his peers, and wants to play with other children on the playgrounds. But, unfortunately, the children avoid the boy because he does not speak.
