HELP A DISPLACED FAMILY SOCIALIZE THEIR 5-YEAR-OLD DAUGHTER NICOLE!
Nicole Kholodenko was born a healthy baby, and developed without peculiarities. But, unfortunately, when the child turned 1.5 years old, according to her mother’s words, it was as if the daughter was replaced with another person. The girl stopped responding to her name, playing with other children, etc.
At the age of 2.5 years, Nicole started attending an inclusive kindergarten group. Thanks to this, she acquired many skills. Unfortunately, the life of the family changed radically after the full-scale invasion of the russian occupying forces in Ukraine.
In February 2022, the family left their native town Lysychansk for Dnipro. Already here, the parents turned to a child psychologist, because Nicole still does not speak. Here she was diagnosed with autism. The girl received a disability certificate.
In Dnipro, Nicole completed several rehabilitation courses, thanks to which she began to recover forgotten skills and learn new ones. Classes with specialists must be continued. But the Kholodenkos do not have enough money for all the necessary treatment measures for their daughter. The family of forced migrants is asking for help from everyone who cares!
