11-YEAR-OLD MARIA WITH MULTIPLE DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES NEEDS STRENGTHENED REHABILITATION!
Maria Stavska was born prematurely, at the 29th week of pregnancy, by caesarean section. The weight of the baby was only 1380 g! This happened because Mariychyna's mother had a stroke during pregnancy.
"My daughter spent almost 2.5 months in the intensive care unit under artificial lungs’ ventilation. The child came home already with diagnoses: congenital heart disease, hypoplasia of the corpus callosum, etc.,” Tatyana, the girl's mother, begins her story.
Little by little and step by step, thanks to the zeal of her parents, Mariyka began to acquire her new skills. The child spoke her first words at the age of 6.5, and later began to sit independently.
In 2022, the girl underwent complex heart surgery. The results allowed further orthopedic intervention. In 2023, Maria underwent surgery on both legs, after which she was in a cast for 3 months. Currently, the child needs enhanced physical rehabilitation.
Mariyka is calm, quiet and diligent. She studies in the 4th grade of a secondary school. Unfortunately, the child studies remotely, but really dreams of joining his classmates in the classroom. She really misses communication with her peers.
Please help Maryka to overcome the consequences of severe pathologies and get back on her feet. In May, the girl is expected to attend the next planned course of rehabilitation classes.
