6-YEAR-OLD IVAN WITH CP NEEDS A COURSE OF CORRECTIVE CLASSES!
The first 7 months of Ivan Koval's life were considered a completely healthy baby. But the first alarm bell sounded when the boy could not sit up on his own. He held his head, turned over, held toys with his arms, but did not sit. At the age of 9 months, the boy was diagnosed with cerebral palsy.
For the first year, the child with a complex diagnosis was treated with massages and acupuncture. The neurologist was sure that this was enough, and the boy was about to catch up with his peers in development. But precious time was lost. In 2019, Ivan went to a rehabilitation course for the first time.
The results of the very first rehabilitation were positive. The child began to revive very rapidly. Ivan learned to drink from a cup, to eat. He confidently sits on a chair, crawls, gets off the sofa himself, and stands near the support. And, like any modern child, he has a perfect command of a smartphone and a tablet. Ivan's intelligence is completely preserved.
Now the boy knows Ukrainian and English alphabets, numbers. Ivan loves to draw and sing. He is very communicative - he can talk non-stop. On the way to victory, there was an increased tone of the muscles on the right side, which caused complications - a misalignment of the pelvis and a shortening of the right leg.
The Koval family does not give up. The boy’s parents actively work with their son at home and try to organize Ivan's rehabilitation measures regularly. In order to put the boy on his feet, the courses cannot be skipped. The family budget is exhausted at the moment. Help Ivan recover! Join the fundraising!
