5-YEAR-OLD DASHA WITH SEVERE DIAGNOSES IS COUNTING ON YOUR SUPPORT!
Dasha Klymenko was born prematurely by cesarean section. The weight of the baby was only 870 g! Connected to a ventilator, the girl was in intensive care for a month. After that, she was transferred to one of the Okhmatdyt Hospital departments.
At the age of 1.5 months, Dasha underwent eye surgery. Thanks to this, her vision was saved. Thanks to the efforts of doctors, Dasha survived and continues to fight for her own health. Now the girl is 4.5 years old. Due to the consequences of severe diagnoses, she does not walk, does not speak, and does not respond to her name.
Parents are trying hard to create better conditions for their daughter. The entire family budget is spent on consultations, treatment, rehabilitation, classes with a psychologist and a speech therapist. In February 2022, Dasha underwent a selective dorsal rhizotomy. This freed the girl from painful spasticity in her legs.
Dasha is a cheerful girl who likes musical toys, enjoys swinging on a swing and walking in nature. Specialists note Dasha's progress, so the whole family believes in the possibility of a gradual recovery of the girl's physical and mental abilities.
Now the number one goal for Dasha is to take the first independent steps. For this, regular classes with rehabilitators are critically needed. Please help Dasha get to the planned rehabilitation course in July!
