8-YEAR-OLD LIZA WITH DOWN SYNDROME NEEDS HELP!
Liza Yefimenko's parents found out about the diagnosis immediately after their daughter was born. This was proved by certain markers. Later, the diagnosis was confirmed by the results of a cytogenetic study.
In addition to the main diagnosis, Liza was diagnosed with concomitant diseases: ischaemic damage of the central nervous system, celiac disease, scoliosis, tonic lesion syndrome, congenital myopia of the right eye, and others.
At the age of 9 months to 3 years the girl had another symptom - tremor of the cervical spine. She used to shake her head all the time. It disappeared thanks to regular physical exercise.
Liza is a very friendly and charismatic girl, she loves other children and likes to go to school. She smiles at everyone and hugs them. She dances, jumps on the trampoline, likes to draw and swims in the pool.
After the Russian occupation forces began their full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Liza and her mother left their home in Kharkiv. And the girl's father went to defend the borders of our state from the first days of the war. Liza misses him very much.
In order to socialise as much as possible, the child needs regular classes with rehabilitation specialists. Only then will she have a chance of not feeling different, of finding herself and living a full life! Please help the Yefimenko family to raise funds, as each rehabilitation course is very expensive.
