17-YEAR-OLD BRAIN-DAMAGED YULIA IS EAGER TO LEARN EVERY NEW SKILL. HELP HER!
Yuliya Lyakhotska's parents have been fighting for her health since she was born. She has a congenital brain defect. Thanks to numerous rehabilitation sessions, Yulia, now 17, has learned to walk, not on her own but with the help of a hand or a stick.
This seemingly small achievement is a huge victory! Yulia herself deserves credit for this. She is strong and resilient. Her determination is to be envied. She is active, and cheerful and has many plans for the future.
Yulia reads, writes,, and speaks, although not clearly. She likes to draw and take pictures. Yulia's greatest passion is the stage and fashion shows. She likes to be at the center of attention.
For a girl to lead a full life, she needs regular lessons with specialists. Parents raising a younger daughter do not have enough money for this. Rehabilitation is expensive. Help the Lyakhotsky family!
