7-YEAR-OLD MARIA WITH EPILEPSY URGENTLY NEEDS EXPENSIVE RESEARCH! HELP THE GIRL IN A DIFFICULT CONDITION TO FIND THE RIGHT TREATMENT!
Maria Shabatina is a welcome addition to the family, but unfortunately, she has had serious health problems since birth. In the first months of her life, she did not roll over or sit up by herself, did not follow objects, and was very restless. At 9 months, Maria began to suffer from painful spasms that affected her sleep and development.
Maria's parents consulted doctors. Several attempts were made to find a treatment for the girl, but none was effective. A course of hormone therapy and a keto diet helped put her in remission for a while. But later the epilepsy returned and has continued to progress. In May this year, the girl's condition worsened significantly.
To control Maria's condition, expensive medication and tests are required. She takes 3 drugs constantly. Another drug has been discontinued because of a strong negative effect on the gastrointestinal tract. The epileptologist urgently recommends monitoring the girl's brain activity at night using the electroencephalogram method to adjust further therapy.
This medical examination, together with the medication, is very costly for the family. Please support Maria's parents and help them to stabilize their daughter's condition! Specialists are waiting for a young patient at the clinic at the end of August!
