13-YEAR-OLD BOHDAN, WITH A SEVERE FORM OF CP, DREAMS OF TAKING INDEPENDENT STEPS.
In the sixth month of pregnancy, Bohdan Pidoprygora was born prematurely, weighing only 840 grams. The boy's difficult life began with a three-month stay in intensive care on a ventilator. The baby came home at 5 months.
Unfortunately, during his stay in intensive care and due to his premature birth, Bohdan suffered severe damage to his central nervous system. As a result, he was diagnosed with severe cerebral palsy, spastic tetraparesis, and speech delay of the 1st degree.
For 13 years, Bohdan has been bravely fighting for his life, which has included regular rehabilitation courses, massages, physiotherapy, lessons with a speech therapist, and acupuncture. A teenager cannot sit, walk, eat, or care for himself.
Bohdan understands everything, but his body is bound by spasms that prevent him from developing fully. Despite a very severe form of the disease, regular rehabilitation gives positive results and the child's development is noticeable!
Bohdan is a very curious boy. He enjoys reading and learning new things. He studies in the 7th grade at a special school, he likes computer science, chemistry, and drawing. Most of all, Bohdan dreams of being able to play football with his friends and peers.
The years of their son's treatment have exhausted the family financially, and Bohdan's parents have been forced to turn to everyone who cares about him to raise funds for the next necessary rehabilitation course. Please support this boy!
