5-YEAR-OLD STEPAN WITH CP WANTS TO LEARN TO WALK. HELP THE BOY'S FAMILY PAY FOR HIS CORRECTIVE LESSONS!
Stepan Suvorov was born prematurely, weighing only 980g and unable to breathe on his own. From the first days of his life, the boy was diagnosed with a complex set of problems: neonatal cerebral ischemia, combined hydrocephalus, convulsive syndrome, anemia, bronchopulmonary dysplasia, and retinopathy of prematurity. Stepan also had a bilateral brain hemorrhage at birth.
The doctors had no good news for the boy, but Stepan's mother never gave up hope. In general, the child spent the first 3 months of his life in the hospital, and immediately after being discharged, he started medication, physiotherapy, and massages. When the boy turned 1, he received his first full rehabilitation course, which gave hope for improving his condition and further development.
Thanks to regular classes with specialists at various rehabilitation centers in Ukraine, Stepan has learned to sit with support, is trying to sit on his own, and stands with support. He has even started to take small steps. The boy enjoys swimming, logic games, and lessons with a speech therapist and correctional teacher. The rehabilitators say that Stepan has good potential and is capable of more with constant training.
Help Stepan's family pay for the next planned rehabilitation and correction! This will give the child the opportunity to keep the skills he has acquired and to get closer to the main goal—to start walking independently!
