6-YEAR-OLD ROMAN BEAT LEUKEMIA AND OVERCOME DEVELOPMENTAL DELAYS. HELP A CHILD FROM A FORCED MIGRANT FAMILY RECEIVES REHABILITATION!
The story of Roma Rotko from the Donetsk region is one of difficult trials, struggles for life and health, and personal victories. At the age of one and a half, the boy was diagnosed with blood cancer. Complex and long-term treatment, lasting more than 3 years, brought results and Roma defeated this terrible disease.
The boy is now 6 years old. He is almost non-verbal and the doctors have diagnosed a delay in psycho-speech development and mild mental retardation. Roman needs regular check-ups and extensive rehabilitation. He now works daily with a speech therapist, a speech pathologist, and a neuropsychologist, and takes football and logarithmic classes.
Due to the hostilities, Roman's family was forced to leave Myrnograd and Mezhova. Now the family's savings, which had been used to pay for their son's treatment, have been exhausted. Roman's parents are appealing to everyone who cares to help. Help the boy catch up with his peers!
