6-YEAR-OLD DENYS HAS CP, EPILEPSY, AND COMPLEX MOVEMENT DISORDERS. HELP HIM GET INTO A REHABILITATION COURSE!
Denys Sikorsky was born at 35 weeks gestation. The premature birth caused many complications and the boy had to be stabilized in the hospital for another month. After being discharged from intensive care, Denys was diagnosed with chromosomal pathology and an MRI scan revealed brain abnormalities.
At the age of 4 months, Denys had his first epileptic seizures. He was developmentally delayed, unable to hold his head up, roll over, or crawl on his own. At 9 months, doctors diagnosed him with spastic tetraparesis. Later, the baby went to the first rehabilitation, worked with speech therapists and teachers, visited the swimming pool, and received various types of therapy.
Denys is now 6 years old. He still does not sit independently and does not speak. He understands directed speech, but it is difficult for him to respond - he tries to express his opinion with sounds. For further development, the child needs regular rehabilitation, which is beyond the means of Denys' mother, who is raising him alone. Help the boy to attend the next rehabilitation course!

Diagnosis: Cerebral palsy. Spastic tetraparesis. Movement disorders of level IV according to GMFCS. Structural epilepsy. Focal myoclonias and focal tonic seizures are associated with sleep. Underdevelopment of expressive and receptive speech. Pseudobulbar dysarthria. Genetic pathology.
