7-YEAR-OLD MATVEY, WITH AUTISM AND DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES, WANTS TO START TALKING. HELP HIM GET INTO REHABILITATION!
Matvey Shpot was born after a difficult birth. Until the age of 1, the child developed according to his age, but then he started to regress. The sounds and syllables Matvey used to pronounce began disappearing from his vocabulary, and food selectivity appeared. The child stopped making eye contact and responding to his name.
Later, the family noticed that Matvey did not feel any danger: stereotypical behavior, vocalization, and self-stimulation appeared. The boy staggered and walked on tiptoe; he had no interest in books, animals, or other children.
When Matvey turned 2, the boy's mother began to sound the alarm, contacting a psychotherapist, a neurologist, and a geneticist. The child took the prescribed nootropic drugs, passed medical examinations, and attended corrective classes. Unfortunately, none of this yielded significant results - the child was significantly behind his peers in psycholinguistic development.
Matvey was later diagnosed with ASD, cognitive impairment, expressive language disorder, and several diagnoses related to developmental disabilities. Matvey still does not speak but loves to listen and read. He is friendly, cheerful, active, loves animals and birds, and is interested in games. Help Matvey attend classes at the Rehabilitation and Neurophysiology Centre! Give this child a chance to develop!
