8-YEAR-OLD MARIA WITH EPILEPSY AND BEHAVIOURAL PROBLEMS NEEDS EXPENSIVE BRAIN ACTIVITY TESTS. HELP THE GIRL GET THE THERAPY SHE NEEDS!
Since birth, Maria Shabatina has been diagnosed with conditions that prevent her from living and developing fully. In the first year of her life, she did not sit up on her own, did not follow objects with her eyes, and was restless. Later she began to have seizures.
Since then, there have been several attempts to find a treatment for the girl's epileptic manifestations, but none have been effective. A course of hormone therapy and a keto diet helped her go into seizure remission, but only for a short time.
Maria is following all the doctor's recommendations, but the prescribed therapy is not producing lasting results. Therefore, she needs to have her brain electrical activity monitored to adjust her treatment.
Night video EEG monitoring is the most informative method of recording and analyzing brain activity. During EEG monitoring, the brain's electrical activity is recorded and the child's behavior is videotaped.
The girl attends a regular school and loves to communicate with children. But because of the complex diagnoses, she finds it difficult to study. Maria tires easily and is forced to miss a lot of school because of her health.
Maria's family is confident that the corrective therapy will help the girl to go into remission and live a healthy childhood without hospitalization. Please help her parents pay for expensive medical tests!
