8-YEAR-OLD BOHDAN WITH CP AND MOVEMENT DISORDERS HAS A CHANCE TO LEARN TO WALK. HELP HIM WITH HIS REHABILITATION!
Bohdan Shmyhel is the only wanted child in his family. Until he was 7 months old, his parents did not notice any problems and he was developing normally for his age. But Bohdan did not start walking and crawling on time, so the family went to the doctor. The result was disappointing - the child was diagnosed with cerebral palsy.
Bohdan's parents took the news hard, but they did everything they could to ensure that the boy received all the necessary medical care. Since then, he has undergone several rehabilitation courses a year, as well as medication. The family believes that Bohdan will be able to walk independently and communicate with his peers.
Bohdan is a bright and promising boy in the second grade. He loves to listen to music, sing, and count. He is interested in everything and has an excellent memory. Unfortunately, Bohdan still has some problems with his hand-motor skills, but he continues to work on his physical development.
After numerous rehabilitation sessions, specialists have noticed some positive changes in the little patient. He started walking with one hand. He no longer crosses his legs when walking. Bogdan gets very tired walking long distances, so he has to use a wheelchair.
The family is confident that Bohdan's future treatment, recovery, and development will be excellent. However, Bohdan's regular rehabilitation is taking a toll on the family's budget. He is expected to have another scheduled rehabilitation course in early March. Help this child take the next step towards his dream!
