6-YEAR-OLD GORDIY, WHO HAS CEREBRAL PALSY AND MOVEMENT DISORDERS, DREAMS OF DEVELOPING AND PERFORMING ON STAGE. HELP HIM GET THE REHABILITATION HE NEEDS!
Since his early childhood, Gordiy Khrystoiev has been struggling with the consequences of a difficult diagnosis. The boy has ataxic cerebral palsy, motor, and dysarthria. It was not until age 3 that Gordiy learned to walk and talk a little. However, he is still diagnosed with general speech delay.
Gordiy has undergone numerous treatments, examinations, and rehabilitation. He underwent kidney surgery at the age of 7 months and is now awaiting eye surgery. The treatment and rehabilitation have produced good results. Gordiy walks independently, although his balance and gross and fine motor skills are still noticeably affected.
Gordiy is a talented and promising child but needs regular rehabilitation classes for further development. He is friendly, polite, and well-behaved and communicates and plays quickly with other children. Gordiy loves space and musical instruments and dreams of performing on stage.
