Five-year-old Yehor, who has a brain injury and other serious health issues, needs an improved rehabilitation course. Help the boy!
Yehor Kucheruk was born prematurely at 30 weeks via caesarean section, weighing 2,100 g. His condition was serious: he suffered from hypoxic-ischaemic damage to the central nervous system, right-sided pneumonia, and anaemia. Therefore, from the first days of his life, Yehor has been under the supervision of neurologists.
From an early age, he received drug therapy. As he grew older, he began attending an inclusive kindergarten, where specialists provided additional support to aid his development. Yehor took medication prescribed by a psychiatrist, worked with a speech therapist and a defectologist, and completed his homework independently at home.
Yehor is a diligent, attentive, and gentle child. He enjoys spending time with his mother, observing her as she does household chores, and assisting around the house. He takes pleasure in playing with a ball, swimming in the pool with support, and riding both a scooter and a bicycle. Each milestone in his development brings immense joy and pride to his parents.
Yehor's current diagnoses include mental disorders resulting from organic brain and central nervous system (CNS) damage, severe speech disorders, delayed psychological development, and autism spectrum disorder. He requires regular rehabilitation and consistent independent work. Please support Yehor on his difficult journey!
