Seven-year-old Kiril from the Kherson region has cerebral palsy and other serious diagnoses. Help the boy to live without pain.
Kirill Mussa was born prematurely at 34 weeks, weighing only 1,880 grams. His mother's pregnancy was complicated by disorders of the fetal-placental circulation and the fetal venous duct. Therefore, from the first moments after birth, Kirill had to start fighting for his life.
He spent the first 15 days of his life in intensive care, undergoing two blood transfusions and being connected to an artificial lung ventilation machine. Later, he was diagnosed with organic brain damage. Kiril's family received the confirmed diagnosis of cerebral palsy when he was eight months old.
On his second birthday, Kiril experienced his first epileptic seizure, which shocked his family. Just when both his family and doctors had noted some progress, a new, terrible chapter in Kiril's story began. Since then, epilepsy has presented another challenging aspect of Kiril's life.
Kiril is now seven years old and has a long list of diagnoses, including cerebral palsy, epilepsy, digestive system disorders, almost complete hearing loss, and many other conditions. The boy still cannot sit, walk, or speak independently. However, he possesses incredible strength and fights every day to try to live a full life.
Kiril's family was forced to flee the temporarily occupied part of the Kherson region. Since then, he has not been able to receive regular rehabilitation. Consequently, his condition has worsened: seizures have become more frequent, and pain has intensified. The child needs rehabilitation!
