Four-year-old Heorhiy, who has cerebral palsy, epilepsy, and motion disorders, needs rehabilitation. Help him get on the path to development!
Heorhiy Heletka was born with a brain hemorrhage that occurred in the womb. This led to further complications in the child's development. At three months old, Heorhiy could not roll over onto his side and later did not attempt to sit up unaided. By the age of one, the boy had been diagnosed with double hemiplegia and grade 4 motor disorders.
Until the age of two, Heorhiy developed slowly. He did exercises to improve the fine motor skills of his hands and could distinguish colors, but he did not start talking. From the age of two, Heorhiy began to regress: his physical skills remained intact, but his overall development worsened. Heorhiy developed epilepsy and was prescribed medication.
His mother works with him at home every day. He periodically undergoes rehabilitation courses, medical examinations, and tests at medical centers. Geneticists suggest that the child has SPATA5 syndrome. The boy now takes medication for epilepsy constantly, and his mother can only understand him through his emotions.
Heorhiy's father was injured in a rocket attack and lost part of his left hand. This has made it much more difficult for the family to care for their son. The boy now requires intensive rehabilitation and physiotherapy to improve his motor skills and eliminate pathological reflexes. Help Heorhiy get on the path to recovery!
