Artem Balakhonov was born with two severe conditions: cerebral palsy and sensorineural hearing impairment. Throughout his life, Artem has collaborated with specialists in various rehabilitation centers and employed different methods. Speech therapists, deaf educators, and rehabilitation specialists have been working with Artem since he was very young.
Artem loves animals deeply. He once took a dolphin therapy course and enjoys communicating with horses. However, he cherishes spending time with his best friend, Doberman Charlie, the most. After intensive physiotherapy, Artem has become more mobile: he can now get on his knees and straighten his arms and legs.
This year, Artem graduated from third grade and now enjoys writing numbers and letters. During online lessons, he likes communicating with his peers, which encourages his development. He dreams of one day being able to play football and walk a dog. All of this is possible thanks to the support of caring individuals! Support Artem!
