Twelve-year-old Artem has several developmental disabilities and requires improved rehabilitation. Support the boy!
Artem Kirnos was born with several pathologies and was in critical condition during his first days of life. He could not breathe independently, and after examinations, doctors noted a disruption in brain formation. A month later, Artem was discharged from the neonatal pathology department with a long list of medications, which unfortunately did not improve his condition: he struggled to sleep and often cried.
At nine months, Artem said his first words. At the same time, doctors reported that his left hand was not functioning correctly and that he required surgery. Two days after the surgery, Artem experienced seizures and was prescribed anticonvulsants. Following the seizures, he lost his ability to speak. He could not sit or walk and mumbled incoherently. He began walking independently at the age of two and a half years.
At four years old, Artem was finally diagnosed with learning disabilities and recognized as a child with a disability. During this time, he underwent rehabilitation and worked with a psychologist and a speech therapist. He also participated in swimming and massage classes. At the age of seven, Artem began attending kindergarten, where he socialized and started communicating with his peers. By the age of eight, he began his education at a school with an inclusive learning environment.
Artem is now a teenager who has finished fifth grade and has learned to count, solve simple problems, and copy texts. He can write dictations, has a developed visual memory, and loves drawing and the music of Ukrainian artists. Artem needs regular sessions with rehabilitation specialists and a speech and language therapist. Support the boy in his fight against illness and on his path to further development!

Multiple organ dysfunction syndrome. Moderate intellectual disability. Lumbar scoliosis (curvature angle 20°). Symptomatic epilepsy. Dysarthria. Dysphagia.
