Artem Herasymenko is nine years old. He is in his first year at a specialized educational institution and only began speaking at the age of eight.
Artem struggles to adapt to new situations and often resists them. He experiences persistent motor disorders, posture issues, and behavioral challenges. At 1.5 months old, he suffered from hypoxia and barely survived. Despite this, he continues to fight for his life and health.
Artem is a kind and sensitive boy. He enjoys drawing, sculpting with clay, listening to fairy tales, and assisting his mother in the kitchen. Artem is a very tactile child, and hugs calm him. The most popular rehabilitation classes are water exercises, which develop motor skills and coordination, reduce anxiety, improve sleep, and relax and strengthen muscles.
The boy experiences constant headaches and takes a significant amount of medication. To continue his development, Artem requires regular rehabilitation, exercise therapy, and sessions with a speech and language therapist, as well as a neuropsychologist.
